Our Staff
The most important factor in any nursery are the people who look after your most precious possession! In 2014, 9 staff members have served over 10 years at Little Treasures Academy, with one member over 18 years!

We know that when you are not with your children, you want your child to feel cared for with a real sense of belonging; we can only achieve this through our childcare practitioners. Our childcare practitioners are hand-picked for their personality and their love of children. We take great pride in ensuring that we have the best staff to look after your child. We have always applied the simple rule 'would we want this person to look after our own children?' We also recognise that professional qualifications are vital to a childcare practitioner.

UK Borders’s Agency (Home Office) awarded “GRADE A” for our staff recruitment and HR systems. Our staff have qualifications, experience and training in childcare (NNEB, CACHE, NVQ, Level 2 and 3 or equivalent). Some junior members are working towards NVQ3. Enhanced police and health checks are undertaken. All staff have undertaken a Paediatric First Aid Training approved by OFSTED.

Staff development is paramount. We intend to offer best training opportunities for our staff to support and build on their knowledge. We are committed to constantly monitor and evaluate our standards of care. We provide both in-house training as well as external training accessed via Oxfordshire County Council’s “Step into Training” programme or at the local colleges. Our friendly and trained staff are focused to ensure your child develops as an individual, whilst providing education through discovery and enjoyment.
